Summer Reading

Fort Lee Public Schools strives to cultivate life-long reading by encouraging students to read over the summer break and join the Fort Lee Public Library's Summer Reading programs for elementary, middle and high school students.  Students can browse through our summer reading suggestions or explore other titles that peek their interests. We hope Fort Lee's students will visit the Fort Lee Public Library and participate in the wonderful summer reading programs it is offering.

Intermedia Link

Intermedia is the art and literary magazine created by Lewis F. Cole Middle School students for the entire student body. The magazine consists of original art work and literary pieces done solely by students. None of the work has been copied or duplicated. Work which has been completed in school, as well as at home, is permitted for inclusion into Intermedia.  For the last 43 years, the Lewis F. Cole Middle School has won awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) for its outstanding work in Intermedia.  CSPA received 450 plus entries from around the country for judging during the 2014-2015 school year. Fort Lee's Intermedia, Volume 43, was ranked as one of the top middle school publications in the country and received a Gold Award and All Columbian Honors in all categories.  Here is the link for Volume 44, the 2015-2016 publication which will be judged in the Fall by Columbia University's CSPA:
