School Reopening Sept. 2020 Letter 7.10
Hello Fort Lee Families, We were able to celebrate our students this week as we conducted the Fort Lee High School Graduation and Lewis Cole Middle School Promotion ceremonies. It was an opportunity to celebrate the success of those students and wish them well in their next adventure. Looking out my window now, it seems like we were lucky to plan the events for earlier in the week.

Intermedia 2019_2020
The theme of Intermedia 2019-2020 is Dreams and Nightmares. Our theme describes the hopes and dreams we all have, the worries and fears that threaten to consume us, and the many layers in between that add meaning to our lives. Dreams and Nightmares expresses our courage and drive to continue the seemingly never ending pursuit of success, while learning from the many challenges that life throws at us. As we long for the past, live for the present, and look towards the future, we have blended the haunting fears and enthrallingly elusive dreams that we all have in Intermedia 2019-2020.

First Responder Window Appreciation Project
Please help us spread the news on this project! Attention all residents of Fort Lee! We're rolling out a campaign today urging everyone - children and adults alike - to create signs for their windows thanking the Essential Workers/First Responders for all to see. We want to show our appreciation to everyone who is out there every day risking THEIR lives to help OURS - police officers, fire fighters, EMTs, doctors & nurses, cleaning staffs, store workers, pharmacists, restaurant workers, delivery people, etc. Hang your signs where everyone can see them - in the window, on the garage door, on the porch - and let us know that you are grateful for the heroes who are working tirelessly throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Post your works of art on social media with the hashtags #BeFortLee,#FortLeeStrong,#WereInThisTogether and#FortLeeCares, and message your photos to us on Facebook at @FortLeeToday so we can proudly post them. Thank you in advance for your participation!

Fort Lee school families in need
First and foremost, we hope you and your families are safe. The four elementary PTAs have come together to raise money for some of our Fort Lee school families in need during these times. We became aware of some families that were being offered meals however these meals are only available during what would be normal school days (Monday - Friday). We are trying to raise money to purchase gift cards for groceries in order to help cover the weekends. We realize these are difficult times for all. Donations are optional and all amounts make a difference. Donations can be made via gofundme
